Movie night!

Before the movies started, one of the boys heard a kitten crying from the bottom of a storm drain in the parking lot.

Some of the boys and dads tried to get it out for an hour, but it kept running away. We hoped it would find it's way out over night.

The next morning (after the "camp-in") we could hear it crying from across the parking lot. So, the effort to rescue the kitten was back on.

After 2 hours, she was successfully retrieved from the storm drain.

*Special thanks to the gentleman from Founders Baptist Church that purchased a can of cat food to lure her out.

She was named Stormy (after the storm drain) and taken to the vet for a full check-up.

Stormy is living with one of the TX116 families and doing very well. She's got playmates and all the food she can eat.
